Our experiences and environment shape us significantly.  They define how we perceive the world; impact our relationships; and contribute to our strengths. Sometimes we start to see patterns in our lives that are not in alignment with what we expect or what we want for ourselves. Feelings of despair may emerge.   People may feel overwhelmed, anxious, experience loss of pleasure, or perhaps an overall loss of meaning.  If you have disturbing memories still impacting you today, if you feel anxious in certain situations or overwhelmed attempting to cope with the difficulties in your life, I may be able to help.

As your therapist, we can work together to explore and unfold some of the experiences that helped form who you are today, without being forceful, moving from fragments to coherence… always coming back to here and now. My goal is to assist you in gaining tools and new perspectives that will allow you to move toward your goals of leading a fulfilling life based on your values and embracing the future with curiosity and hope.

I offer psychotherapy services to individuals who are struggling with a variety of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, challenging life transitions, trauma, and addictions.

I am passionate about working with people who want to explore their story and move towards growth. I integrate treatment interventions in sessions depending on client’s needs.  My main approach to psychotherapy is psychodynamic. We might utilize mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic awareness and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) based on your needs.
